20 questions with Christine Dovey of Bjiou and Boheme
Christine Dovey is a beautiful example of how following your passion will lead to great things. A blogger and decor enthusiast (to say the least), Christine boldly went where many fear to go: starting from scratch. Feeling uninspired by her surroundings, she sold her furniture and began a quest to fill her home with pieces that she truly loves. Through blogging this journey on Bijou and Boheme, she has found a promiment voice in the decor community as a top blogger and, now, Style at Home contributer.
1 If you could shadow any designer for a day, who would it be?
Christine Dovey I think I'd feel dead and in heaven if I was given the opportunity to shadow Kelly Wearstler around for the day. She's absolutely my girl crush design idol.

4 What’s your favourite room to decorate?
CD I'd say a foyer. I love that this space gives off the grand first impression in a home and really sets the tone for what's to come. It's sort of the first and all important act, if you will, and if done well, allows people to fall in love at first sight with a design aesthetic and point of view.

6 If one song could be the soundtrack to your life, what would it be?
CD I'm going to cheat and pick two. Right now, I'd go with Mumford and Sons I Will Wait. The chorus reminds me of my kids laughter. Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole is probably my long time favourite theme song though. It's what I walked down the aisle to; it makes me think of raindrops and lollipops.
7 What’s the one store you could spend hours browsing?
CD If we're talking bricks and mortar, Decorum, hands down. The store is me in shop form. But if we're speaking online, 1st Dibs wins the race. There's just so much pretty to look at.
