Love the Wine You're With
Whether prepping for the hustle and bustle of hosting over the holidays, or sipping solo while soaking in the tub, wine enthusiasts want stylish ways to showcase their collection. Here are a few display ideas whose originality and flawless design caught our eye.
1. Bar Cart

Easy to put together, this is the high-spirited hosts entertaining essential. The sleek, sophisticated bar cart features airy shelves and a mirrored-bottom, gently reflecting the glasses and bottles. Underneath, a minimalist kitchen trolley mounted on wheels provides shelves to store glasses, trays and bottles.
2. Wall Support

A tasting counter perfectly complements this fabulous, feel-good family room. A selection of wine bottles is cleverly placed in a rustic wooden case, then mounted on the wall. Ready to replicate this yourself? This piece can be bought, created by a carpenter or done as a DIY project. Consider adding a chalkboard wall, perfect for displaying fun messages or inspirational thoughts. We rounded out the look with a granite and glass table, then added cute country-charm accessories for the final touch.
3. Great Collection

Made using blonde wood, this wine cellar is reminiscent of a Scandinavian sauna, starting with the stunning, simplistic glass door. Inside, the generous storage alternates between individual compartments, diamond modules and cubbyholes custom-built to store wine crates. Designer note: slanted compartments are an ideal way to showcase vintage wines.
4. Clandestine Bar

Here, a discreet bar is designed between the living room and the open-plan kitchen. The customized construction was built using a soft, smoked glass and artificial Alabaster stone (an affordable and practical alternative). This elegant, shallow shelving unit stylishly displays the bottles at a glance. At night, the display case is softly illuminated, casting a gentle light on the bottles.
5. Design an Island

For wine enthusiasts, the latest trend is to install a small cellar or wine cooler in the kitchen. Stunning and modern, this compact refrigerated island keeps wine perfectly chilled. Its glass compartment beautifully displays the bottles, while the bottom half of the custom-built structure cleverly houses two deep drawers to store additional alcohol and mixology accessories. It’s the perfect accompaniment for an evening with friends!
6. Mobile Island

Modern and useful, the kitchen trolley has quickly become an essential cocktail trend. Other than servicing drinks, this swank piece can be used for nibbles and accessories. Here, we’ve chosen to give it a designated space and complete it with two shelves, painted the same colour as the walls. Ideal for creating a compact and practical entertainment corner.
7. Handy Hutch

Built-in and super functional, this custom layout perfectly compliments kitchen cabinets. There are shelves for wine bottles and glasses, as well as a functional space for drink prep. Underneath, the cabinets offer extra storage space and a discreet wine cooler.
