1 High/low: Bedroom
When it ran: February 2011
Because the panelled walls were painted a daring raspberry pink, everything else was kept in a neutral colour palette. Interest and glamour were added through different materials: glass, mirror, velvet and silk.

When it ran: July 2007
This pretty porch evokes the romantic feel of days gone by. Elements such as the sheer drapery, plush throw pillows and simple lanterns have us yearning for a good book and a free afternoon.

3 High/low: Kid's play area
When it ran: September 2009
This kids’ play area is just plain cute! It’s colourful interior makes it fun without being too babyish, which means it can effortlessly transition from a toddler to a big-kid room.

4 High/low: Game room
When it ran: July 2006
The rustic, cottage-style look of this summer games retreat is still popular today – and it’s not likely to be outdated anytime soon, thanks to the use of neutral furniture and natural materials.

When it ran: January 2010
The juxtaposition of modern and rustic makes for a winter cabin that doesn’t feel cold. At play are cozy decor accessories, such as the shag rug and chunky knits, and sleek pieces like the ghost chair.
