Give your Christmas gifts an extra special handmade touch with this clever ombre DIY card that's simple to make, but striking in design.

MATERIALS

• 5/8" tree lever punch 
• Green paint chips (in shades ranging from light to dark)
• Pencil
• Ruler
• 5" x 7" blank  white card
• Glue stick
• Eraser

HOW TO 

1 Using the lever punch, punch out seven trees from the paint chips (one per green shade). Repeat two more times.

2 Using the pencil and the ruler, draw a faint line 3½" down the front of the card.

3 Using the pencil line as a guide, glue seven of the trees (from lightest to darkest) onto the card, ensuring they’re evenly spaced. Draw another pencil line ⅛" above this row and glue on the next set of trees. Repeat one more time.

4 Carefully erase any visible pencil lines.
