Fresh greenery and a collection of snow globes infuse the entryway with the spirit of the season. “The objective was to make [the decor] as accessible and homey as possible,” Rubino says. “You don’t want it to look forced.”

Exposed ceiling beams, traditional brick flooring and warm wooden elements work together to fill the dining room with character and warmth. To bring the outdoors in further, production designer Beth Rubino wrapped logs in twinkle lights.

Expansive windows transform the dining room into a solarium, allowing the snow-covered backdrop to take centre stage. “The solarium became the essence of our storytelling,” Rubino says. “The idea that we are looking through glass and viewing everything that happens through glass.”
