I was with a group of hunters in a small village when they killed goat. At first it was a bit of a shock for me, but it became a pretty transformative experience. It\u2019s a very respectful, ceremonial process where they pay tribute and give thanks to the animal by not letting any of it go to waste. I\u2019ve eaten so many amazing things! I guess I\u2019d have to say it was yesterday, when I had mom\u2019s pasta al forno, with eggplant smoky scamorza. It\u2019s phenomenal.
