"body": "It's day four of our five-day virtual tour of\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.styleathome.com\/shopping\/style-destination\/style-destination-los-angeles\/a\/52480\"> Los Angeles<\/a> and today's stop: one of the newest Mexican restaurants in the city, \n<a href=\"http:\/\/tortillarepublic.com\/west-hollywood-california\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tortilla Republic<\/a>. Ask anyone in Los Angeles where to find the best Mexican food and you're likely to get a variety of answers. Given California's close proximity to Mexico, there are lots of restaurants to choose from. That's why it's always fun to try a new place and see how it stacks up against the others. \n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.styleathome.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/06\/restaurant-tortilla-republic\/tortilla-republic\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-24190\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-24190\" title=\"tortilla-republic\" src=\"http:\/\/storage.quebecormedia.com\/v1\/sah_prod\/style_at_home\/b87a2bb0-9103-4ac2-bd05-a24317d14675\/tortilla-republic.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"306\" \/><\/a>\n<!--more-->Tortilla Republic is a modern Mexican grill and margarita bar located on Robertson Boulevard in West Hollywood. The menu is extensive with all the Mexican favourites you'd expect to find: nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas and enchilladas. But some dishes feature an interesting twist, like the rock shrimp tacos and the short rib burritos, which makes this menu more unique than others I've seen. I also love the option to get your tacos 'skinny style', by forgoing the customary taco shell and substituting it with butter lettuce. (Listen, I'm not saying you SHOULD do that, I'm just saying it's an option if you're trying to be good.) During the daytime, Tortilla Republic's atmosphere is light, bright and inviting. But by night, it becomes dim and intimate, making it a cozy spot for a romantic date. I loved everything about this place - great atmosphere, great food and if you bring along your own great company, then you've got yourself a winner. \n<strong>Do you like Mexican food?<\/strong>",

Cleo is a dramatically decorated Middle Eastern restaurant at the corner of Hollywood and Vine, where starstruck tourists can stroll along the Hollywood Walk of Fame before sitting down to dine. \n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.styleathome.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/04\/restaurant-recommendation-cleo-at-the-redbury\/cleo-restaurant-interior\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23995\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23995\" title=\"cleo-restaurant-interior\" src=\"http:\/\/storage.quebecormedia.com\/v1\/sah_prod\/style_at_home\/411d6de5-82fa-49c0-8f66-a66ab43bd91b\/cleo-restaurant-interior.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"297\" \/><\/a> \n<!--more-->Dinner at Cleo is a treat for all the senses. Step inside and you'll be enchanted by the clientele (this is obviously where Los Angeles' beautiful people come to eat), the restaurant's boho chic style, imagined by photographer Matthew Rolston and the fragrance of the fresh Middle Eastern eats being expertly prepared in Executive Chef Danny Elmaleh's kitchen. \n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.styleathome.com\/blog\/2014\/02\/04\/restaurant-recommendation-cleo-at-the-redbury\/cleo-restaurant-food\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-23996\"><img class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-23996\" title=\"cleo-restaurant-food\" src=\"http:\/\/storage.quebecormedia.com\/v1\/sah_prod\/style_at_home\/a8c838a5-4ffc-4d41-ae7d-cd16338d0cac\/cleo-restaurant-food.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"283\" \/><\/a> On the menu, you'll find tapas-style dishes, which is perfect because you'll want to try everything. Everything on the menu looks delish but understandably, your eyes may slide on past the Brussels sprouts, in search of a dish that's not prominently featured in your childhood nightmares. But before you go, you must know this fact: The Brussels sprouts are like, the best thing on the menu. Yeah, I said it and after you've been and have converted, you can thank me. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is lively and loud.
